PM Hun Sen Warns Interior Ministry Undersecretary of State for Assisting Other Party

KAMPONG CHAM: Prime Minister Hun Sen has told Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Interior, Kong Bora, to assume proper conduct after learning that Kong Bora was secretly assisting his younger brother's party.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion and upgrade of National Road No. 7 from Skun roundabout to Kizuna bridge roundabout in Kampong Cham province on Monday morning, 9 January, Prime Minister Hun Sen told Kong Bora, "If you left [the CPP], make sure you have completely left; if you joined the CPP, be clear of it."

"Do the right thing, Kong Bora; don't think that I don't know what you are doing," he added.

Kong Bora was appointed Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Interior after he joined the Cambodian People's Party (CPP). He is the older brother of Kong Monica, the President of the Khmer Will Party, and the son of a senior official of the Candlelight Party, Kong Korm.
